Brown Blood

I'm 19.  I started birth control a little over a month and a half ago.  Close to the end of that first month, i had unprotected sex.  Now, going into my third week of my second month on birth control, i have had a dark brown bloody discharge.  I know i havent been on birth control very long but i am very worried and just wanted some advice. So, if you could help i would appreciate it very much.. thanks

Thank you! Do you think it could be a sign of pregnancy?

When I first started BC I too experienced strange blood discharge. It was not an STD or anything, just my body adjusting to the hormones. Often times when women first begin BC they have break through bleeding between periods. The reason it is brown could possibly be because it has been stored in your body for a while (perhaps left over from your last period).
