|   CAN I GET PREGNANT WITH THE COPPER T IUD

Hi, I had the Copper T IUD inserted after i had my second daughter 2 years ago, sence then I have had hevy peroids and have been spoting in between them a couple of times, I went to the doctor to get it checked a couple of times already, but he keeps on telling me that it's all normal, now for about the last two months I have been spoting every day and my period was really hevy, it lasted 6 days, I finally stoped bleeding but now I feel really sick, I've been cramping a lot and been feeling real sick, I have the simptoms of pregnancy, I'm afraid I might be, I made an appt. with my doctor but he will be able to see me until friday of next week
.............. Is there any chance that I might be pregnant with the COPPER T IUD?
if there is what should I do?

no birth control method is 100% effective.  it's possible to still become pregnant and i read that if women do conceive after iud's or tubes being tied, it's a possibility that the pregnancy is ectopic and dangerous.  the doctor will have to check.
