In the past when I had a Sunday start day, I used to get my period on Wednesdays. So this month I expected to get my period either on Wednesday or Saturday (if my body had not adjusted to the new start day yet). I had PMSPremenstrual syndrome Relieving pms Thursday and Friday and expected to get my period one of those days but didn’t. By Saturday I was cramping throughout the day and kept thinking I was getting it, but it didn’t come. This has continued for the last 3 days and now im starting to worry. I swear every few minutes it feels like my period is starting but it isn’t. I have had mild cramps throughout the day.
Even though I hadn’t gotten my period, I started a new pack on Sunday because I didn’t want to mess up my cycle anymore. I should also add that I was under A LOT of stress on Thursday and Friday.
So my questions are:
- Could I have totally messed up my cycle by pushing my start day back? How long will it take to return to normalNormal saline flush?
- What are the chances I could be pregnant, given that my husband and I used condoms EVERY time and I took my pill correctly for the most part?
- Is it possible that my period was just late due to the new start day and stress, and my Sunday pill is preventing it from coming on late?
- If my pill did prevent it from coming, can I expect to still get it in the next few days, or did I skip it?
I used to mess around with my start date a lot so that I could avoid my period during certain events and stuff and I find it can screw up your period a lot.
Stress can definitely affect it and since you were using condoms I would say you are not pregnant.
Give the new start day a month or two more to regulate. If you are still experiencing all this wonkiness, I would see a doctor.
