Contraceptive pill and pregnancy.

I am on the contraceptive pill but there is a chance I may be pregnant as I missed a few pills running up to my fertile days and had intercourse on these days  If I am pregnant and continue taking the pill can it be dangerous for the baby? Also, If I take a pregnancy test, will the fact I am on the pill affect the reading?

if you missed pills there is a possibility you could be pregnant. It's nearly impossible to get a false positive on a pregnancy test. If you think you may be pregnant I would stop taking the pill.
