Copper T IUD side effects

i have the iud and i have been bleeding for almost 1 month it isnt heavy bleeding but its comes and goes threw out the days... is that normal?

I have had the IUD as well and this is normal in the beginning stages.  It takes a couple of months for your body to get used to it so you will NOT be regular right away.  Once you get regular, you will bleed more heavily and your periods will last a couple days longer than your period without the IUD inserted.  I would also contact your gyni to see what they recomment.  With the IUD everyone can have different reactions to it so its better to contact your doc.

I've had my copper IUD in for almost two months now and I've had on and off light spotting every couple of days, cramps, and I had a morning of intense pain that prompted me to think something was seriously wrong, a week and a half after it was placed.  Apparently all is normal--ultrasound checked out fine, pregnancy test negative, and a couple weeks later I had my one-month check.  She said that I should be worried if my pain is constant; it comes and goes.  The pain has been getting less intense, and I think it's getting less frequent.  I had my first post-partum period before the IUD was placed, but haven't had one since--just light spotting.  I check my strings every couple of weeks, and I'm not sure what's a normal length--it seems to vary slightly, perhaps with the variance of my cervix, but I don't know when to check it as my cycles haven't gotten regular yet.
The package and my doctor say that it should even out after three to six months, so I'm just going to wait and watch, I guess.
