Depo Provera/ AF return

So, I took the shot for like a year...I did not get a period for almost 9 months after I stopped taking it. I got my period back in May around the same time it would have been before I started the shot. I had unprotected sex two days after my period had ended. And now...I have not had one yet. Yes, I have taken an HPT and it came back neg. So, I am wondering if this is a side effect of the depo...or should I be slightly worried?

I received my last shot in May of last year. When I went to see the Gyno in March she was surprised that I had not started my period yet. So... I am just waiting for an appointment to open up.

From what the dr told me yesterday..taht if you have been on the BC shot and you go off it takes up to a 1-2 years to get pregnant that it remains in your system longer..I am on the shot right now..I get my period once every three months (when its time for my shot)
I would take a another one sometime next month....
