Depo Provera...

I have been on the Depo shot for about 2 years and I have heard a lot of bad things about wanting to get pregnant. I really want to conceive asap and I need help getting it out of my system asap... I have missed 2 shots, The one supposed to be in November of 2012 and the one of February of 2013.  Please help me...

I haven't had any type of anything that would hint at a period yet. But I never had but 1 period on the shot and it was the 1st one. And thank you!

With depo shots and most types of birth control, it can take up to a year for the medications to filter out of your system and allow you to conceive. It doesn't mean that it will absolutely take you a year, but it's normal to take that amount of time. Since you have been off the shots for a few months now, your body is already filtering out the hormones, so that's a good start. One of the problems after stopping these types of birth controls is possibly having irregular cycles, which can make it difficult to predict your fertile days. You should invest in ovulation predictor kits to help you know when your most fertile days are, and that can improve your chances of conception.
