Did I take my pills right?

Did I take my pills right?

On my previous pack during the last week of my "on pills" I got sick to my stomach and threw up less than an hour after taking my pill. So, I got my pack and took the next days pill and finished out the pack (only a couple more days). I got my period as normal, and started my next pack a day earlier to compensate from having to take my pill twice in one day (to replace the one i threw up). Did I do that right? I've had unprotected sex since then, and I am about a week away from finishing my current pack. Could I get pregnant that way? My breasts are sore, and they've gotten this way before being on the pill...but now I am paranoid. I've taken all pills 100% on time since i've been on the pill (years). Thanks for your help!

Yes, you did this correctly. There should be no increased risk for pregnancy as you compensated for the vomited pill with another one.

Ok, so it doesn't matter that on my previous pill pack I only took 23 active pills when I was supposed to take 24? I basically lost a pill in my last pack because i threw it up. I just got my pack right back out and popped the next day's pill to compensate and finished the pack like I normally would, obviously just being one pill short that month. I mean, I still got my period for that last month, and I started my new pack a day earlier to compensate for missing that pill. That's not going to effect my new pill pack's effectiveness??
