Do I get my tubes tied?

I had my first son at 19 and now I am 20 and my second child is due in December. They both have the same father and my husband along with others want me to get my tubes tied. I am still undecided but as of this moment I do not want any children. My mother does not want me to get them tied and I think the reason is she could only have one child, who was a miracle. Please advise me of the Pros & Cons of getting them done.

Go on the pill then. Your way young to get your tubes tide. What if 5 years from now you want more kids? And you make this mistake now....if I were you I would go on the pill or IUD or something.

No do not get you tubes tied, you should try going for an IUD they have the five year one and the 10 year one. this is less permanent but just as effective

I too would like info about tubal ligation from those who have had one.

Is it true that some women have to go on hormones after in tha case of a problem?  Such as the ovaries dying completely off instead of just being tied off.   Did you find changes in mood, appetite, energy level, menstrual cycle, labido etc after?
