Does the depo provera shot have any antidote??

I had my first Depo shot two weeks ago and for the past week and a half I've been an emotional mess, I cry for no reason, get angry for no reason and feel really weird... is there any solution for this?? Thank you

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do once you get the shot. You just have to ride it out until it gets out of your system. Personally that's why think it's the worst option available because there's literally nothing you can do if you can bad side effects from it. At least with the pill or the IUD or whatever else you can stop taking it or remove it and things get back to normal pretty quickly. But the shot takes a long time to work it's way out of the body.
