Feeling like I am about to start my period again and I just ended 9 days ago.

I have always had irregular periods so I went on the pill. I have been on the pill for about year now, it seems like my periods are getting lighter and lighter. I ended my last period on April 12th and I keep spotting off and on, feels like I am going to start my period again!??

Spotting and breakthrough bleeding are the most common side effects of being on the pill. Pretty much, sooner or later, every woman who is on the pill will experience it at one point or another. If it gets to be a problem, you can always switch pills. There's like a ton of different options so it's not that big of a deal.

Sometimes the pill can cause this, and we have 'mid cycle' bleeding. It can be normal, or it can be caused by a hormone imbalance. Usually once and a while it doesn't really matter, but if it continues then perhaps seeing your doctor to change your pill would be an idea. I wouldn't worry for now, though.
