First cycle with the Mirenia

I just had the Mirenia placed about 3 weeks ago. I am now starting my first cycle. I had it placed due to very heavy bleeding to the point I needed blood and iron transfusions. I am now have very emotional issues, I seem to cry about everything and just don't want to do anything. Is this normal and does it go away? Any help would be great as this is my first time using birth control.
