Getting prego after bc
I been on depo shot for one year we decided not to get next shot last December so I been off shot since dec 26 2012 and I just got wht seems to be my period today 2/16/13 how soon can I or will be able to conceive ? ** since I been off bc we have not used any protection (I'm married btw) lol
It can take awhile to get pregnant after getting off the Depo shot...i was on the shot for 2 1/2 years and it took me a year to get pregnant....BUT everybody is different. Good luck:)

If you were my patient, I would advise you that the effects of depo can last for up to 18 months. IF your cycle resumes and your periods are regular, that suggests that your baseline fertility has resumed. It is also possible to conceive before the first period, since ovulation takes place before menstruation. There is no reason NOT to try.
