Hi,
I greatly appreciate your answer. I was able to talk to my doctor and she did prescribe me a stronger estrogen dose because the BC I was taking years ago was 0.05 mg so she gave me a 0.035 mg dose to see if that will stop the breakthrough bleeding. Again thank you for your help.
Hello,
This can be breakthrough spotting/bleeding occurring due to the birth control pills. It should become better in 3-4 months of starting the pills. It should become better but if it persists then you may need to get your hormonal status checked from a gynecologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
