Help!! Am i pregnant?

Right, This is a big one!

I am having a very hard time here. I have not had proper periods for the last three months. First i had light periods in May, a bit more in June and in July i had tiny brown patching for 1 hour!!! at max!
Now i am very  much worried. I am getting married in January with a wonderful man. I have been taking pills for a while but missed a lot of them in arpil and May. We have not planned for a child yet as i need to get ckecked first. You know make sure i am ready for it, I am 21 years old . I have taken several pregnancy tests and they all have all been negative!!! I have put on weight, a lot! i was 8 stones and now i am 9!! Argh!!!!!! i cant believe this. I have never been so much in weight. I like the curvy figure but still with the amount of food i eat i have never put on any weight.
I feel sick most of time, cannot stay in hot or stuffy places. I pass urine quite frequently now and also feel a bit sick most of time. During my so called perios last few times, i have had back aches and all.

I just don't know what is wrong with me! can i still be pregnant with all this test saying NO? I did a blood test early june annd i wasnt preganant. I am so confused.. My fiance is worried like hell! I come from a catholic family and the priest is not going to be very happy having me walk down the aisle pregnant.

Also the weight i have put on is around the abdomen.

Please help..

Hi :-)

Sorry that you're having to deal with all of this - I know that it's stressful, especially with the wedding coming up and all.

First, I do think that you need to see a doctor to get a professional opinion about what's going on.

However, BC pills can change the way your periods occur and cause all of the symptoms you've mentioned, ESPECIALLY if you've been missing your pills. The hormones in most birth control pills keep the uterus from forming a lining each month (or mostly, anyway) and when there is nothing to shed, you may not have a period. Or, like me, you may have additional spotting in between periods until your body regulates to the hormones. You may also gain weight, have breast tenderness, nausea, or mood swings. I've even had night sweats from BC pills. So don't worry too much, your body is probably just adjusting to the hormones. But you MUST take your pill every day at the same time or your body will not be able to adjust. Besides that, missing pills or not taking them at the same time every day increases your chances of getting pregnant. Set an alarm or try what I do (keep a glass of water by the bed and take my pill as soon as I wake up at 6:30 every morning).

But, really, please see your doctor so that you can get a professional's opinion about this.

Feel better and take care, Honey!
