Is stopping all forms of birth control my only option? Or does anyone know if there are other types of contraception I can use that won't raise my blood pressure?
You might need to try a different brand. Im on Yasmin since July 2007 and don't have too much of a problem with blood pressure. Mine before I started it was always 120/80. Now it generally goes to about 130/70 or 135/70. Talk with your doctor, you might just need to switch brands. If you dont want to take bc pills you can either use condoms or maybe an IUD. Im not sure. Talk to your doctor. Yasmin is a low dose bc pill, so maybe that one might work.
