How far can mirena move a period?

I've been on Mirena for a year and four months and have had a pretty normal cycle differing only between the first and second weeks of the month. It's the 3rd week now and still nothing so I'm wondering if anyone else on an IUD has had this happen before and how far did it change.

It can go either way. Some women are really lucky and have no period for all 5 years. Others like me have the misfortune of still getting a period every 28 days. But at least it's a lot less bleeding than what it was without it.

Anyway, so the answer is that there is no "normal" because it varies from person to person on whether you get a period or not.

I had 2 Mirena IUDs for a total of 9 years. I had a period for a few months with the first one then didn't have a period at all. It's normal to not have a period! Hope that helps. (:
