How much do antibiotics affect birth control pills?

I have been on ortho tricyclen lo for a few months, and I was recently prescribed a pretty hefty dose (450 mg) of clindamycin after surgery on my wisdom teeth. Supposedly antibiotics lower the effectiveness of contraceptives, but by how much? By what percentage? (I always use condoms as well, so I am not terribly concerned about the risk of pregnancy for myself, I just thought other people might be interested in this question, too)

if you are using a condom though you are fine.
