I just got my first depo shot today and I'm terrified now

Hello everyone. So today I just got my very first depo injection. I did read into some, but I don't think enough. I've recently just lost 40 pounds going from 190-150. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and dont eat crap anymore. I'm reading horror stories everywhere of people gaining weight and I am REALLY freaking out BADLY! I feel like now I did all that work for nothing. I was just wondering on average how much weight is gained during the first shot?  I'm not going to get another injection after this one because of the crazy stories I've been hearing, but I am really scared about gaining weight, especially excesive amounts of weight.
