IUD question

I'm thinking about having  my Mirena IUD removed due to headaches and neck pain. I had my first IUD in 2006 and kept in until it was removed in 2014 and a new one placed the same day. I started having neck pain and headaches in 2012. I had a cervical rhizotomy for bilateral nerve pain in 2013 and 2014. I take Cymbalta for nerve pain and am scheduled for another rhizotomy in March. Do you think this could be from the Mirena?  I also had a spontaneous spleen rupture in 2011 still can find no cause for that. I've read several case studies where having Mirena removed, cured several problems. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

If it's causing undesired side effects, I would get it removed.

I refused the Mirena due to possible headaches, cramping, bleeding and was worried about it implanting in the uterine lining. I do feel it can cause those issues.
