I.U.D. questions

I have an IUD and my periods are weird, sometimes the last 2-3 weeks but just as spotting , sometimes its a little heavier and only lasts a week . I have had this IUD  4 years this month so i only have a year left with it . Is this normal ? and i know they say it is really rare to get pregnant with an IUD , but i know 3 people who have gotten pregnant while using the IUD , Now that i am in my last year of my IUD , I am wondering if it is a higher chance of me getting pregnant with it since it is my last year with it . How rare is it really to get pregnant with an IUD ? I am also very prone to BV , and Yeast infections since i have had the IUD put in , is this normal as well ? Also when i get the IUD out will i have trouble having a baby ? I get nervous thinking about it and about how many people have trouble conceiving because of birth controls .

Hey so I had the IUD for exactly 4 years I think a couple of months ago maybe 1 or 2.started bleeding as well I was confused too. I get chronic yeast infections since I got the IUD too. When I started bleeding it was random really random spotting not spotting But then this horrific pain started it turned out I had PID with BV. I think this is a warning sign for you like it was for me. The pain is grouped with what you think is period pain. If I were you I'd Sprint too an OB. Get the microbacteria test for BV. One of them I have called  ureaplasma.its undetected by std or sti chx bc these bacteria have no cell wall. If you have this bacteria its harder to conceive and will may lead to ectopic pregnancy. Also infection over and over and over. It causes discharge too so it easily mistaken.if your in the clear take it out and get the birth control that goes in your arm. I had to remove mine I thought things were gonna erruot in me. Hurts so much to remove it. As far as pregnancy on the IUD you shouldnt get pregnant but if you let him unload then your ultimately putting yourself in a bad position. Condoms are only 98% effective and so are IUds. But listen I'm not a doctor this is from experience and I was in your exact position. My thought was would I be able to get pregnant after the IUD was out.just a couple of things I'd recommend idk how old you are but please if you haven't get an HPV vaccine you will protect yourself in a significant way.
