Intentionally skipped period next one late

I intentionally skipped my period last month by skipping the placebos in the pack while on vacation. I've finished my current pack but have not gotten my period yet. I'm supposed to start the active pills in my new pack tomorrow but I'm concerned about missing another period. I've been on this brand for almost 2 years and have never missed a period before. I don't think I'm pregnant because I've taken all my pills regularly. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I don't think it's anything to worry about. If it were happening to me, I'd be happy for the lighter period and not even think twice about it.

I was to get my period last weekend. On Saturday night I noticed some dark brown spotting so I assumed it was my period beginning. However I only had the light spotting of dark brown blood for 2 days and never had any real withdrawal bleed. Should I make an appointment or will it take a few months to get back on track after skipping my placebos? Thank you!

This is not unusual after skipping placebos.  Just take your next pill as scheduled and I'm sure you'll be back on track with your next period.
