Is it normal to miss period after bleeding early?

I forgot to take two of my birth control pills the week before I would normally start my period. I began bleeding for 2 days because I forgot to take the two pills, but I took two pills for two days when I realized it and the bleeding stopped. The day the period stopped I was sexually active. A day or two later I was supposed to have my period and I didn't. That was two weeks ago so I'm going to start my next period hopefully in about a week. Is it normal to miss your normal period after bleeding early due to missing pills? Like since I bled already did that "take care" of my period for the month? Thanks
