Liver hemangioma have you had one while taking the pill?

I have been having left side chest pain just under the ribs. At first I thought it was muscular as I work out, but it persisted for a long time and got much worse. I saw my Dr. and they thought maybe it was a blood clot from taking birth control pills(had calf pain as well). We did a chest xray and the Dr. said we should do  CT scan to see arteries and lungs clearer. I did that and was told that I need a MRI to make sure that the 2-3 spots on my liver that that the radiologist saw during the CT scan were a liver hemangioma and not anything else. My doctor said the radiologist said the spots were questionable. Dr. also said nothing to worry about and it's very common if that is what it is.

Has anyone here ever had a liver hemangioma? I hope this is what is actually is and not anything else. Needless to say I'm off the pill now. Dr. said pill caused it or I was born with it.

Forgot to mention that I was on Tri-Sprintec 28 (recently went off them due to this) I was on them 6 years and a couple months. Most Dr.'s that I have questioned about the side effects of the pill said mostly blood clots are the issue and liver issues are rare. I guess I was one of the rare cases unless of course I was born with it which I doubt as I have had other xrays in the past and nothing questionable appeared. I know scans show a lot more but still.

I always read the insert that came with my birth control pills and never ever in a million years thought I'd be facing liver issues as the product insert says they are rare.
