Lost track of insertion date, back to back NuvaRing.

Hello,

I've been using the NuvaRing back to back in order to skip periods. Something happened to my tracking app, and I'm no longer sure when I inserted the ring I'm currently using (I know for a fact that it has not been three weeks, though). Now I'm wondering, can I insert a new ring now even if the one currently in place has not completed its cycle, and start counting from the new insertion date? (I would not be having sex for at least 10 days).

Thank you
