Missed first two pills of new pack

Im currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen and have been taking it for years. I usually start my new pack on tues. however i have missed my first two pills. Im getting my new pack tomorrow (thurs) and know that i have to take two pills tomorrow and two pills the next day to stay on track. My pamphlet says that i could become pregnant if i have sex in the 7 days after i miss pills and need to use a back up method for those 7 days. What i dont undertstand is if i need to use a back up method for 7 days after the first missed pill (tues-tues), or 7 days after the last missed pill (wed-wed), OR for the next 7 days after i take the first active pill (thurs-thurs)?
