Missed period on Lo Loestrin FE

I'm on lo loestrin fe for over a year. I'm always regular but now I'm almost 2 weeks late! I have been stressed lately. I always use condoms and I take my pill same time every day. I'm not on any other medication. I took an EPT test 3 days after I missed and got negative. I don't see how I could be pregnant with how careful I always am. Before going on the pill I had 2 small cysts but nothing to worry about. I need some peace of mind....can you help me? Also no symptoms....just feel the way I do when I get my period.i just have that white discharge.

It is fairly common for women to have minimal or no menstrual flow after being on a very low dose contraceptive for several months.  Because the pills prevent ovulation, they also prevent the build up of the uterine lining that
makes up the menstrual flow.  If there is minimal lining, there can be minimal flow.  For some women, this is great.  Others are too nervous if they don't have a monthly period. If you want to have a "reassuring" cycle, you could ask your provider to change your pill for awhile.
