Morning after pill and BC

OK. So I was on Apri for a year when I was with my bf. My last period on Apri was July 18, 2008. After that period, I took about 4 of the pills before I decided to go off the pill for a few months, since my bf and I broke up months ago and I don't like taking medicine/hormones I don't need. Naturally, my period started again a few days after I stopped taking the pill, so maybe the beginning of August. Last week, I made a really stupid, stupid mistake and slept with my ex w/o protection. He did not ejaculate inside me. However, to be safe, I made sure that I took the morning after pill within 72 hours. My question is- what are the chances, honestly, that I my period was back on schedule? Because if it was, I would have had unprotected sex smack in the middle of my ovulation. However, I'm assuming that going off the pill after a year had my system all out of whack. Second question- I've heard that Plan B can cause bleeding/spotting. I just took this thing a few days ago, so I've had no period/spotting yet- but if I start my period, could it be "fake?" Should I still take a pregnancy test if my period comes, because it could be induced by plan B?

Sorry for the barrage of questions. I'm just really p*ssed at myself for making such a stupid, stupid decision. Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

Phew. Totally got my period today, so that's a major relief. I'll still take a test when it ends, just to make sure...but wow. total relief!

I'm in a similar situation- took plan B a while ago, waiting for period to start so that I can put the whole situation behind me!

I still have not had my period yet! I've been having PMS symptoms for three days, though.

I called the pharmacist and told her I took plan B about a week and a half ago, no period yet. She said that it could make my period late (!!!) even because of all of the hormones. She told me that if I do not get my period by the end of the first week of September to take a pregnancy test. Eek! all of this waiting is killing me!

I'm totally going back on birth control as soon as my next period ends.

The unprotected incident happened early last Thursday (Aug 14th) and I took Plan B Saturday the 16th. I have had no spotting, and only slight adverse affects from Plan B (stomach ache the day i took it.) My period is due in a week, week and a half.

it's my understanding that plan b forces a period.  you don't need to take a preggo test if it comes but will need to if it doesn't .

also wanted to suggest that you pack you some condoms to always have on hand ( in your purse or wallet).  it's perfectly fine if you don't want to use birth control, but unless you want a baby, you gotta always use something
