My Copper IUD Is Making Me CRAZY!!

I got my copper IUD inserted almost 6 weeks ago. And I have been having major problems with my body ever since. My periods were always 4 - 5 days, heavy on the first day and then taper off to nothing. I have never had PMS or cramps or anything. Now, I start bleeding, almost like spotting, but a bit heavier for the first 3 days, then I feel like I am bleeding to death for 3 days. Wearing a cup and a pad and I still bleed thru my jeans. My cycles are now about 7+ days and I am all over the place. My co-workers and boyfriend think I am going insane. I cry, I'm angry, my emotions are all over the charts. I feel like I want to kill myself at times. And then, on top of everything else, I am having major problems with bowel movements. I eat a plant based diet and before I got this thing inserted I was going to the bathroom 2 - 3 times a day. Totally normal, totally happy about it, and now Im lucky if I go once a week. I am talking to doctors and everyone is telling me that all these symptoms have nothing to do with the IUD and I need to start looking elsewhere, but the only thing that has changed in my life is that I have had this stupid thing put in. Does anyone have any advice for me or experienced anything similar?

Your symptoms are suggestive of menometrorrhagia. Various factors causing it are endometriosis,ectopic pregnancy,hormone imbalance,endometrial hyperplasia,polyps,use of IUD’s and depo shots, sexually transmitted diseases,PCOS and benign and malignant pathologies of the uterus.

You should get it evaluated from a gynecologist as it looks like a side effect of copper T(IUD) in your case.
