Nuva ring the best choice for someone with anxiety?

Hello, I had been on the nuva ring for about 4 years then quit when my boyfriend and I broke up. About a month and a half ago I started on it again and about the same time started to have severe anxiety and emotional unbalancing. I have suffered anxiety off and on my whole life and there were other stressors at the time so I don't know if the birth control contributed to the reaction. I have preferred the ring because it is localized and seems to cause fewer hormonal fluxes.

Has anyone had an anxiety reaction you believe was due to using the nuva ring?

For anyone out there prone to anxiety, what method works best for you?
