Nuvaring and false negative.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant, and/or had a false negative on nuvaring. Or if anyone knows if here is anything in it that would give me a false negative. Thanks!

Nuvaring will not give you a false negative.

Usually the reason for a negative on a hpt if you are actually pregnant, is testing too soon.  If you tested, got a negative but still think you might be pregnant, test again in a week.

Is there any specific time in my cycle I shoudl test? I tested at 3 days late.

I'm on nuvaring too and I'm usually way more than 3 days late. I'll take the ring out on Sunday and then won't get my period until Friday. I know how you feel, though. I get totally freaked out when my period is late too. But the reply before yours, peekawho, is right. Wait a week and test again.

But it was fine for 4 months and the last 3 periods were only spotting and for 2 days. It just stopped by its self. I think I'll test again at eh next "period" and see.
