One time depo

Well i starting taking depo in Oct. 09. I only took it once. I have olvarien cysts so depo wasnt the best idea. So i stop takin it. Now i just finished my period a week ago or more ago. And yesterday i started bleeding, nausea, and horrible stomach pains. What is going on?? Am i having a miscarriage??

See your doctor. The Depo Shot can stay in your system for up to a year...including the side affects. So you might still be feeling the affects of the shot. You should probably see your doctor on this to make it is not something more serious.

I had been given a depo shot jan 6th because am amebic (amoebic) and in order to stop heavy periods my doctor had given me the shot , I've been bleeding since feb 23rd. I was due for my nxt shot march 6th, my doctor advised me to check up with my gun because the depo shot may have not been a good choice. So I have not got my shot on march 6 today is march 30 , have anyone been in this predicament and know when will your period end after discontinuing use of the shot?
