Okay so i was off of my deposhot (birth control) for a couple months &was late on my period about 7 days. Went in to get my shot &took a pregnancy test saying negative. But its been 28 days now since ive been late and ive been having horrible cramps. Ive also been spotting redish at times. Not alot but is that normal? Can i be pregnant since it was kinda early when they checked? Why do i have cramps? What is this spotting. Please help. :(
I can determine the exact cause of your symptoms only after I examine you. Few women may have spotting and mild cramps during ovulation. Ovulation spotting may appear brown or pink. It can also possibly be implantation bleeding when the fertilized egg burrows into this thickened uterine lining. In endometriosis there is severe cramping with in-between spotting and bleeding. Pregnancy is possible since you were not an any birth control method. Consult a gynecologist for further assistance and evaluation. You may need tests to rule out pregnancy and above mentioned causes. Do keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
