Pill causing depression?

Ok, I've been on birth control for a little over a year. I was on tri cyclen lo but changed due to having some side effects I hated (no sex drive, weight gain, heavy periods, bad cramping) and switched to loestrin.
I've been on loestrin since November. (so roughly 3 months) I take it religiously at the same time everyday. I'm never late, or miss a pill.
Recently I've noticed a change in my emotions. I'm much more sensitive about things. I'm crying more at stupid stuff, the littlest things can either make me so mad I want to throttle someone, or break down into tears. I'm finding it very hard to find the motivation to do anything, like getting out of bed in the morning is a chore, and I'm noticing the only thing I really have any interest in is sleeping.
I'm just concerned that I might be developing depression as a result of my birth control. Anyone else on loestrin have this Kim of problem before?

Oral contraceptives have been reported to be causing depression in some women. Hence you should change the birth control method and see if the symptoms persist. If they persist then get depression ruled out from a psychologist.
