Pregnancy syptoms with IUD?
I am having what seems to be pregnancy symptoms and have a mirena IUD in. I am having a regular period and am worried about what is going on. I have been to the doctor already and have come up negative on both blood and urine. I don't know what else to do. Any help?...
The IUD can cause what many women will associate with pregnancy. If you're still having an actual period, it's unlikely to be pregnancy. The IUD is very effective at preventing pregnancy, with there only being a .1% chance.
My friend had the same thing happen to her. She was all freaking out. It's a part of getting older and the IUD I would think.
