Should I get back ON birth control to clear up my acne???

okay, so i've been off birth control (Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo) for about 4 months now...and about a month ago my face started to break out HORRIBLY! I have serious acne now and I have NEVER broken out this bad before in my entire life...usually my worst was like 5 pimples. I am 100% sure that I am breaking out like this because I got off my birth contol. There is no other reason I could be getting so many pimples, I'm not stressed, I eat a well-balanced diet, drink plenty of water, get enough rest, and I wash my face twice a day with Aveeno clear complexion cream cleasner and then apply Aveeno moisturizer lightly. I have also noticed lately that my skin feels more oily than usual, I think this is because my hormones are all crazy and producing more oil on my face. So...I was considering getting back on my birth control. Has anyone here ever done the same thing? and after you got back ON birth control did your acne clear up? Do you think getting back on my birth control will help my skin stop breaking out so much?

It's a personal choice if the acne bothers you more than taking the pills than take the pills. Otherwise you could ask for a prescription for Differen or something similiar (or proactive) - yes it does actually work. Good luck.
