Spotting after two months on Implanon?

I got my first Implanon just over 3 years ago and had no problems. Then in July I got my new one and about 3 weeks ago I started spotting and haven’t stopped. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

I recently got the implant and was given an advice leaflet. I was told people either experience spotting, normal periods or longer periods so I imagine it is normal however if you are really concerned I would go back to your clinic to ask.
