Spotting

Hi, ive been on the pill for about a month, but i dont take it at the same time every single day ( althiugh i try to ). Im sexually active and since ive been on the pill i havnt used protection. Ive been spotting for almost 2 weeks now but ive taken multiple pregnancy tests and theyve all shown negative. When i had started to take the pill for about two weeks i also got bad cramps. Ive had papsmears etc but i want to know if this is normal ?

Spotting is common because you just started the pill. It can take your body a while to get used to be on it which is why you can experience spotting or strange bleeding and cramps etc too.

You really do need to be taking it at the same time every day for it to be most effective. If you don't take the pill correctly you can become pregnant and it can mess up your body and your cycles and can actually cause spotting/irregular periods.
