ok, a few months ago i started seeing what looked like a heart beat on the left side of my stomach. then about 2 months ago i started feeling a heartbeat in it. it freaked me and my boyfriend out. I am on the pill. I am 20 years old. I have been super emotional too lately. I breakdown about everything. What could it be?

No problem. :)  I know, that was a freaky thing for me to see too!  I remember thinking I might be pregnant when I felt it because it doesn't always "match" your own heartbeat in your chest.  It's the neatest thing though, but you can take this into consideration also: In order to hear a baby's heartbeat (not the mother's which can be mistaken for a baby's) it reuires a special listening device.  The average heart rate of an unborn nany I believe is 120 beats per minute, much higher than a healthy adult female's.  Glad to hear you're feeling better about this & the worry has gone away :)

Thas what I like to hear. It felt weird and i read up on it and it said it was normal to see it. Thank you so much for commenting.

You're not (I doubt) pregnant, it is common to see your own heartbeat like that or even gas can seem like that!
