Stopped birth control..but no period!!!

Help. So I was taking Lo Estrin fe for about a month. Before that I use to take beyaz for about 5 months..my dr. Wanted me to try a new birth control so he put me on Loestrin fe. I was good taking pills regularly but soon I started to forget and would miss 2 days here and there and would double up. I dI'd not use a back up method because I figured I had difficulty getting pregnant anyway, and most condoms irritate my skin. I was on bc because to help control my cyst. I recently stopped taking them overall because I noticed I was experiencing many side affects. But now its been almost two weeks since I been off the pill and my period hasnt started. My boobs hurt, mainly my nipples. Should I be concerned or is that normal for you to experience after stopping the pill?

Hello,
Taking birth control pills irregularly can cause hormonal fluctuations. That can result in delayed or irregular periods. After stopping birth control pills few women may experience menstrual irregularities. The sudden stoppage of hormonal pills can result in delayed periods or withdrawal bleeding. If you had unprotected intercourse while taking these pills irregularly it is possible that you are pregnant. Missed period is an earliest sign of pregnancy. Other symptoms are sore breasts, abdominal cramps, spotting, nausea etc.If you are doubtful I will advise you to take up pregnancy test.
Visit a gynecologist for more queries and assistance. Hope it helped.
Best luck and regards!
