Switching from Nortrel 1/35 to estrostep 1/20/30/35

Hi,  I have been searching the internet and there is absolutely no information on switching from higher doses of estrogen to a lower dose.  My doctor is didn't mention anything about how to switch, and is now out of town.

Background: I have been taking a combination birth control pill for about 5 years now.  I am absolutely religious about taking it at the exact time each day down to the minute.  I am currently not on any supplements/ drugs, besides a multivitimin which I take at the opposite time of day from my pill.  I do not use a back-up method of birth control and my partner, who usually withdrawls recently did not (about 4 days into my new pill pack).

I have switched from being on nortrel 1/35 for about a year now (because of side effects), to a triphasic estrostep generic.  I am concerned about the innitial effectiveness of the new pill because instead of starting at 35 mcg of estrogen I am starting on 20 mcg (will my body be used to the higher dose and cause me to ovulate)?  I started the triphasic pack at the time that I would have started a new pack of my old pills ( on time after inactive week).  The package insert doesn't have any information on switching brands.

Should I be concerned about pregnancy?

Also here is just a article i found explains how on all BC pills esp the lower doses you still could have up to a 14% chance of Ovulating, this happ to me plus i misssed some pills got preg and the pill forced me to have a chemical preg, meaning the pill dose not let the baby implant in the embryo, i never knew why Christians always said abortion is murder, now i understand. The pill works in 2 ways to prevent you from having a baby, but if that fails, there is a 3rd way that is a abortive means. Read up on it just so you know. Why do u think they change conception to two weeks after it really happ, the pill company does not want to admit their products do cause abortions. I was so happy when i found out i was prego on my honeymoon cause i was going off anyway soon, and it was over before it began, most women have no clue because this happ so early in preg like a week or two in, that your misscariage women think is a period and never know. Because i never got my period with the type of pill i was on, i had to take a early test, resulting in a pos, by the time i went to my dr, they said i was not preg anymore. sorry if it is off topic but something to think about while on the pill, just a FYI. heres two article that blew me away.

Becareful on EstroStep, i know everyone is totoally diff so you can only see, but my experience was that i was so sick i could not even keep my head up straight, or even walk across the street to my aunts house for diner. Made me feel like i had to puke all the time for days till i fig out it was the pill, finally they lowered my dose to Loestrin 1/20 fe. neve had that prob again. But with loestrin i do not get AF ever in 8 yrs. just make sure you take estrostep same time everyday cause if you take it too close to each other you can prob feel sick like i was. But everyone is diff good luck!
