i havent had a period for about six months , can i still become pregnant?? i had sex may 30th , and i have recently started feeling sick.. tonight is probably tho worst i have felt... i have an unbearable headache and my stomach hurts , its almost like a cramp , but not as bad... my older sister said its not possible for me to be pregnant .. but ive been hearing different theories from different people. irregular periods are a problem for me , but im not sure what to do , ive been up all night worrying my self to death,.
this is urgent because i need to find out what to do,... i cant tell the guardian im living with now , so i need help asap....
Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you to do a home pregnancy test. If you don't feel that you can do a test yourself (they are very easy to do) you could receive excellent counseling and assitance at a Planned Parenthood facility. It is possible to get pregnant, even if you have irregular periods. If you haven't had a period for that long, you could be quite far along, so do the test ASAP before you are too far along to have any options. Good luck! Dr B
