WHY POST ON THIS BOARD WHEN NO ONE ANSWERS THE QUESTIONS?

It's disappointing that your question hasn't been answered.  I, too get confused with these forums.  I, too, am questioning cause the last thing i need is to come out pregnant at 50.  I'm getting married next year, so i don't want to have this worry.  i'm leaning towards tubal ligation, so i'm going to speak to my gyn dr. on Monday and will keep you posted

An IUD is a good option. They last like 5-10 years. So IF you don't plan on having anymore kids, I'd talk tot he DR about that.

I agree that it's a bit discouraging to post and not receive a reply - which has happened to me twice on this board.

Ultimately, I think my doctor is my best source of information anyway...so I'll consult him.

There are a lot of MedHelp forums that have many more questions posted than answers.  I guess it's up to the individual poster to decide if it is worthwhile to post a question, if they see there are not too many answers on the forum.
