Yaz and Topamax

Does anyone know if Yaz is still effective when taking 100 mg of Topamax twice a day?  I have read that with some forms of birth control, Topamax can lessen it effects.  Can anyone help me please??

There are moderate interactions between topamax and the birth control pill Yaz. Efficacy of oral contraception may be decreased by concomitant use with topiramate and hence there is a potential for decreased efficacy of the oral birth control. So you should use additional pregnancy prevention methods, and report any changes in bleeding patterns to your clinician.
