birth control after pregnancy

I was wondering what you other moms were going to be using for birth control? I'm not sure how many are out there but I really don't want to go back on the pill, just because I'm very forgetful and sometimes miss a day. Hope this isn't a weird question!

Going to back to my iud I loved it only for 1yr then I will have it removed and my tubes tied once I've lost all my weight! Unless for some reason I end up w a c section then the doc will tie them then and there! Good luck in ur choice!

Every person is different !! I know people who were on deposit and it messed with their hormones and period crazy and others like myself it was just fine. I was also on implanon a small little tube that they insert in your arm. Not a big deal surgery it is done in the office. That says in for three years. Talk with you doctor and see what's best for you. If you are bad at remembering to take a pill everyday then the pill is not good for you. Like I said before every woman is different !!!!
Best of luck to you!

Personally, I'm getting back on depo. I was on it for a little over 5 years and did excellent with it. When I decided to get off of it I wanted to give my body a break. It's best to take breaks in between. That was 3 years ago and I will, more than likely, remain on it until my husband and I want to conceive our second child. What works for one may not be best for the other and vice versa. You just never know how your body is going to react until you try it. Do your research, talk to your OB, and discuss what works best for you and your future plans. Good luck and best wishes!

I would not recommend using depo because I used and it messed me up like after i stopped using it i didn't see my cycle for six months until i asked my doctor what was going on plus it makes you gain unnecessary weight

I'm personally getting my Tubes tied, but I'm almost 34 and this is my third baby. But there is tons of bc out there that doesn't't involve pills!
