conceiving problem

hi im 22 yrs old my boyfriend and i are trying to conceive but so far we havent been able, well we have been trying for about 3 months i know is soon but im just worried. i was on birth control for about 2 yrs could this be the problem? what do you sugest we should try? thank you

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would reassure you that you haven't been trying long enough. Most types of birth control actually PROTECT your reproductive organs and your fertility. If you are over 30 and have been trying for more than 6 months, or if you are under 30 and have been trying for over a year, then it is time to get help from your doctor. Otherwise, just let nature take its course--don't try TOO hard!
