connection of lump on breast and birth control

I am 19y/o and just started taking alesse 28 four days ago [april5] and since that day im experiencing pain in my breast. i also have a multiple breast masses. Theres a little lump in my left breast [pea size] and two on my right. one that is really big and the other one is a lil bit smaller than the biggest one. I had the biggest one biopsied two years a go but not the other ones.. my doctor said that its benign fibroadenoma..  im just wondering if theres a connection with me taking birth control pills and having a breast lump? is that the reason why my breast is tender? what are the pros and cons of it? my doctor knows about my lump and said that its ok to take bc. but im still worried.
