could my gf be pregnant

Hi, i wonder if someone could shed some light on me and my gf's situation. She is the yasmin pill and had been taking it for 5 days after her period, but then she missed a pill. and we had sex five days later. We both have checked online and it says if you miss a pill take 2 that day, but she never cought up on that missed one she just carried on taking them as usual the next day after she relised she had missed one the day before, we then had sex 5 days later after her missing a pill, we did not use a back up method of contraception. She has five pills left in her pack and we did a pregnancy test yesterday and both showed negative!... Its been 8 days since we had sex when she had missed the pill, she is feeling very weak, and has flu like symptoms. Could she pregnant even though the tests where negative?

no shes been on the pill for 3 years now so she hasnt just started taking it, shes usually pretty good with them, just this time she's missed it and we had sex five days after she missed it. We where both under the impression if you miss one you have to use a back up methos for atleast 7 days before the pill kicks in again?... its pretty confusing !

thankyou for replying to message..

did she just start taking birth control? you said she has been taking it for 5 days....? birth control takes at least a month to start working and even then its not 100% and even less when she cant take her pills righ.

its been 8 days since you two had sex...thers no way someones going to get an accurate pregnancy test 8 days after sex. thats too early.

shes not going to be feeling pregnancy symptoms either 8 days after sex
