So recently I have been feeling really anxious.  I always knew that I had some issues but now they are unbearable and control my life.  I was wondering if switching birth control pills could have helped maximize the anxiety.  I switched from yaz to ocella and have only been on ocella for a few months and the anxiety started like a month ago.

Sorry you have to deal with the anxiety being so bad. As stated above you may online look into the birth control you are currently taking, but I would recomend asking a family physician about the problem. They would know very quickly and you won't run into all the other possible rare side effects of your birth control that may make you anxious just knowing about them. Also I have had anxiety for about 8 years on and off and it has been doing nothing other than getting better and better as I get used to having it. Hope this helps.
