missed pill please help!

I missed 3 pills in 3rd week from my last packet (i started pill for first time) then had a 7 day break but did not double up on any pills i missed. I just started my new packet (2nd packet) and missed the 2nd day and 4th day. I have had unprotected sex nearly every 3 days. will i still be protected?

it very difficult to say, but the chances are 50 50 for you to get pregnant.

if you are missing this many pills perhaps it's time to start thinking about a different form of birth control. take a hpt when your period is due because there is always a chance when forgetting pills and having unprotected sex that you may become pregnant. that is just stating the obvious. talk to your doctor about other forms of birth control that might be right for you.

I have now started to have a light brown discharge but i am not due a period for 12 days. does this mean it is my period?
